Conspiracy Theory
Life requires too much trust. The most amazing thing about this is the fact that in most cases, well in Saskatchewan at least, trust works. Have you ever seen the little candy dispensors that ask for a donation for a cause of some sort, but have no prevention mechanism to keep thieving hands from just taking all the candy without leaving a donation. The incredible thing of course is those who do leave a donation. And for that matter, when they ask for 25c how are people prevented from leaving 10c instead and still taking the candy! Because we are all too nice! Every relationship for that matter requires trust, and how do we know we can trust someone? We don't. We take the chance. Everyone and everything is just a chance. I've become increasingly suspicious of everyone and their true motives as of late. I find myself having to tell myself. Relax, not everyone is out to get you! Lets just all be friends. Or in the words of my wise friend:"lets all be more suspicious on the off chance that people might be deceiving us, even though there is no proof to this effect."
Whatever. Life's no fun to live that way. Guess we all just will have to take a chance on each other, and have faith in ourselves to be able to handle it when people do let us down. It's bound to happen sooner or later. We are all human after all.

Dearest Rosey -- yes, it is hard to trust. I think the reason we question peoples motives is that we are insecure with ourselves. But if your motives are not wrong, then why should other people's be? The problem with this statement is that even I am guilty of putting up with people I did not like for fear of being rude. Did you watch Oprah the other day when they had the people who wrote the book "He's Just Not That Into You?" God, we could all use that phrase, not just guys in relation to females. We all need a good dose of honesty, then we would never need to question people intentions/motives.
