The Most Beautiful Child on Earth

This is a photo taken by my sister of her then 6 month old daughter. If it was my photo, I would name it DISCOVER. One of my favorite things to do is to watch her investigate new things, and discover new ways to interact with her little world. Her eyes get especially concentrative during such investigations. Did I mention, as well, that she is absolutely gorgeous? 'Cause she is.
Cuba in 15 days!

I will soon be here! Soaking in the sun and drinking Cuba Libres by the gallon (rum and coke with a squeeze of lime). I cannot wait!
Dancing Divas

Here we are, RaeAnne and I dancing it up at Jovi and Aaron's wedding. RaeAnne with an amorous expression and I with the most fabulous high tops ever worn with a sparkly evening gown. Truthfully, I'm extremely grateful to Tara for the loan. I would never have made it through the evening otherwise.
Me and Lauressa
I felt I needed to post a picture of my adorable neice. This one always makes me laugh. I have her laying on my stomach and was trying to get a shot of both of us (which if you've ever had a wiggly 4 month old baby on your belly while holding a camera in one hand and laying on the floor before, you will understand the difficulty level). This plan, as many of my plans in life seem to go, didn't suceed as well as I had hoped - and instead resulted in an angry baby. Consequently, we have an auntie jo with a smile of "isn't this fun!" and an upset lauressa captured in a moment that says so much about our relationship. Poor child.
Vegas
Vegas was amazing! I loved it, though it was an exausting holiday. If you want to see pictures go check them out at flickr.com. Cause I still suck at tags :)
Coffee, coffee, coffee, yah, yah, yah!
Yes, I am currently buzzing on caffeine. That's what happens on the 7th and last 12 hour night shift of the week. Unfortunately the mill has gone down for repairs this evening which means very little work for me tonight. Work is good when you have 12 hours to blow. Especially good when you're on the last night of the week and staring at the clock every 2.7 minutes. Pardon me, its only been 1.36 minutes. Sigh.
I shouldn't complain. Night shifts really aren't so bad. I enjoy having the place to myself, dancing like a maniac when I'm doing ammonia determinations, singing out loud, and putzing around on the internet in between samples. AND, I've slept almost 9 hours during the day for most of this last week. Though, supper for breakfast does take some getting used to. Steak and baked potatoes just didn't feel right today :) That's probably the only time I've ever said that about steak in my life.
Ooo. Good song just came on. Excuse me while I go rock out by the fumehood.
More Pics
Ok, so I went on to flickr.com and posted some more pictures. But as these things always seem to go weird on me, computer savy as I am, you'll have to scroll down to an older blog down below where I have managed to make a flickr show thing that links to every new photo I post. Some day soon I will actually take the time to make a proper side bar thing (maybe) if such things are possible, and time for me to understand such things permits. Right so enjoy if you can find them! They are of some buddies up here at key lake and I doing some tree planting and hotdog eating.
