Another Resolution

Ok, so my new resolution is to figure out picture posting or hosting or linking or pasting or whatever it is you do to have pictures on a blog. And I'm going to do this by April 5th by 11:56pm. I have to give myself these ridiculous deadlines or else nothing gets done. And lists. I makes dozens of list each day. Its kind of embarrassing, but it's a system that works.

So there we are. I've as good as learned this new art already. Once its in the planner, its done! (Ha, yah right you're thinking - what happened to the winter sports resolution?)

I am not responsible for what I have not yet done, but for that which I am about to not do!

Or something.

7th 12hour night shift and counting....

And doing surprizingly well. If you disreguard the fact that I am drinking my tea which has curdled the milk that I should not have added to it. And the countless smacking my head into things, and spraying myself in the face with water hose. Otherwise, doing ok.

When one is physically and mentally tired, things that one was about to say suddenly disappear from the brain. Something about coffee... ah yes, and my teeth have a noticeable (well, to me anyway) yellowish tinge to them after a considerable amout of coffee this week. Hence the tea that I have ruined. Adding cream to my cup has become second nature! Though raspberry flavored floaties are rather tasty.

Disappointments

I recently accepted a new position within my company with the impression that I would be working on a certain shift alongside some friends. Well, the HR person must have been misinformed as I am on the opposite shift. Its funny how you don't realize how excited you are about something until you find you do not have it. The job is still a good opportunity, but what I was looking forward to the most was working with certain people again. Now I am in the process of reassuring myself that it is still a good move. One positive thing is I won't have to get rid of the INXS concert tickets that I thought I couldn't use. There we are! Positives!
